Old Favorite

This album was recorded quite a while ago with friends, Paul Wilson and Brent Larson. Some of Randy's early tunes are included. Randy plays guitar and synthesizer in a little church sanctuary in Barry, IL. The intimacy and immediacy of this album make it an enduring testimony to Randy's music. A newly remastered version will be available soon !!

New Tunez & Different bits...

"Late Night Ride"

I recorded this instrumental song, "Late Night Ride", in memory of one of my best friends, Marc Didier. He died on October 6, 1975 along with another friend, Donna Shotwell, in a tragic automobile accident. I still miss both of them. This song particular commemorates a wild motorcycle ride on Memorial Day Weekend of that same year. It was late at night and the speeds we reached were way beyond the limit. Enjoy!!

This little tune came as I pondered how best to relax on the eastern shore of Lake Michigan. I'm not much of a mando player and it became a bit of a "rant" as I tried to figure out where I could find chords that sounded pleasing! So, it's a prayer of a sort - the kind that says, "Hey God, why'd you have people make this thing so complicated?" In the end, the answer was, "Don't give up - and, relax!"
